Our Neighbourhood & Location

Our location, between the established neighbourhoods of Riversdale and King George at the corner of 17th Street West and Avenue J South, is well-connected to Saskatoon’s beautiful riverfront as well as the city’s urban amenities. The 17th Street West multi-use pathway provides a convenient traffic-separated route for walkers and cyclists to connect with the Meewasin Valley trail system along the South Saskatchewan River. Victoria Park, tennis courts and the Saskatoon Canoe Club are less than 10 minutes away on foot, while the shops, restaurants, and cultural spaces of Riversdale, River Landing, and Downtown Saskatoon are not much further.

 

The Dr. Freda Ahenakew library branch next to Station 20 West is three blocks away. The Remai Modern Art Gallery, Persephone Theatre, the Gordon Tootoosis Theatre, La Troupe du Jour Theatre, the Roxy Theatre and the Galaxy (Scotiabank) Theatre are all within 1.5 kilometres.
