Common House Spaces
At the heart of every cohousing community is the Common House with its shared experiences and spaces.
Large Dining Room & Kitchen
This is where our community meets for morning coffee, Friday happy hour, movies, music concerts, potluck suppers, monthly council and committee meetings, monthly common meals and craft nights. The fully equipped kitchen has two ovens, two cooktops, a microwave and an industrial dishwasher.

Members can book the kitchen and meeting area for large friend or family events and celebrations. You can still have your big family dinner with seating for up to 40 people so nobody is left out! The adjacent patio provides additional seating in the summer.
Fireside lounge
Looking for a quiet place to read or to relax in the comfortable chairs around the gas fireplace or enjoy a glass of wine, a game or a conversation with friends, our fireside lounge is the place to be. Connected to the dining room and kitchen it expands the space for events.
Two Guest Rooms with a Washroom
If we have visitors from out of town, we can book one or both rooms. The washroom is accessible. Linens and towels available. The hosting member provides the cleaning.
Music Room
There is a place where we can make a joyful noise! A space to practice the instrument of choice from our own to those posted for sharing like a full drum kit.
Craft Room
Feeling crafty? The westside room offers a space for us to retreat for a day or to meet up with our neighbours for art, writing projects, painting, sewing or other crafts.
Exercise room & Sauna
Forget those gym membership fees. Our exercise room has a huge selection of equipment featuring a top-of-the-line treadmill, recumbent bike and Bow flex weight training equipment.
After working up a sweat, we can jump in the attached shower or treat ourself to a relaxing sauna that is also a great place to warm up on a cold winter night!
Workshop
Our community has built many things in the large well-equipped workshop, including short-term personal projects like bookcases, fundraisers like building birdhouses, and community projects like the raised garden beds and sun shields. Whether you want to build furniture, cut a shelf or just fix a chair, the workshop has the tables and tools to do the job.
Sun Lounges in our Sunlight Walkways
Each floor has two sunny lounge areas where we can enjoy a cup and a book or gather for coffee and a chat throughout the year.
Second Floor Large Deck, Fourth Floor Sundeck & Main Floor Patio
We enjoy plenty of outdoor spaces to get outside, gather and soak up the sun. The Main floor patio next to the common house offers a pond and gardenside resting place, accessible from indoors and the side gate, and a place for celebrations and post-weeding wine on summer Wednesdays. The large second-floor deck can host 50 people to gather for meals, events, morning coffee or Friday happy hours, and also hosts container gardens throughout the summer. The fourth-floor sundeck with its access to water is a gardening hotspot, as well as a place to stargaze and enjoy the sun.
Gardens
Our beautiful gardens showcase a range of flowering plants and produce a bounty of edible delights for community enjoyment. In our courtyard garden, we enjoy our flower and vegetable garden, fruit trees and berry bushes, with container gardens on the second-floor deck and fourth-floor deck. Each unit has a balcony that is our individual oasis. For many of us, gardening at Wolf Willow is also a chance for condo living while continuing to keep our hands in the dirt!
Laundry Room (opt-in)
In addition to most units having in-suite laundry hook-ups, members have the opportunity for sustainability and cost efficiency to sign up for the shared laundry room where a small laundry fee responsibly covers maintenance and replacement of the commercial washing and drying machines.
Parking, Bike Spaces, Storage
In our attached covered parkade, there are 19 parking stalls, pullout storage for all units, and place for bikes. The parking is on ground level and right next to the elevator so no stairs to negotiate when bringing purchases from your car to your condo. There is also outdoor guest parking and two unit spots. Members have the opportunity to join the Car Share as either a casual user or equity member; great for sustainability, cost efficiency, and those needing a larger vehicle for winter driving.
Indoor Recycling & Outdoor Composting
Our community is committed to recycling and composting with facilities for both. We also have a spot to take a box or leave a box.
Indoor Mailboxes
Mail is delivered by Canada Post regularly to our inside mailboxes. Newspapers arrive just outside our front door.
Front Door Intercom System & Security
We have an effective, controlled-entry buzzer and intercom system directly connected to each unit. Throughout the main level we have security cameras and nightly security checks of all entry points.
