  • Wolf Willow Window Washing

Is this man happy, or is this man really just having fun going up in the lift to wash windows? This is just a fine example of the enjoyment that can be had when you decide there is good reason to do it yourself. Glenn did enjoy his window washing this year at Wolf Willow Cohousing. Who wouldn’t when you can play with a lift?

  • Three Men and a Board

The fun of constructing the raised garden boxes was enjoyed by many hard working folks one weekend in October 2013. An amazing puzzle of timbers, cross braces, rebar joiners, lag bolts all carefully fit, measured, drilled and screwed together into very lovely boxes. They are expected to last longer than any of us. In the meantime they will be functional plant growing spaces and become beautiful with carefully chosen species.

  • Planting for the future

Isn’t Spring a wonderful season – full of renewal and the beginning of something lovely? Here at Wolf Willow Cohousing members start planting trees and shrubs looking to the landscaping plan, that many members spent countless hours pouring over, for direction about where and what to plant. Those countless hours were full of enjoyment as many of the Landscaping Team shared gardening stories and discussed the merits of plant varieties.

  • Grand Opening

Invited guests, the media, and Wolf Willow Cohousing owners all gathered to officially cut a ribbon, thank the organizations and businesses that worked so hard to see Saskatchewan’s very first Cohousing development come into being and generally provide a place for a great deal of handshaking and congratulating!

Here we are … up on the 2nd floor deck. It is winter now in Saskatoon and this deck will likely not be used, but come spring this space will be fabulous!

  • Our new home going up! A labour of love?

    2011

Construction is well underway and we all drive, bike, or walk by on a regular basis. Even seeing the windows installed and the siding start to go on is a thrill. Our move in date is likely about 9 months away but that time is going to fly by and then living with all our friends will commence!
